The Unexplored Places

The Unexplored Places is an actual play podcast about exploring strange worlds and making bold choices.

Where to begin?

The Unexplored Places currently has three seasons, a mini season, and several standalone arcs and oneshots. Use the handy guide below to decide which starting place is right for you!

- you like body horror, eco horror, weird technology, Appalachian folklore, and exciting rivalries
- you like critiques of settler colonialism, extractivism, rugged individualism, and the Catholic church
where to start?
- either with Ruin's Gate 00: Hell's Fortune, for detailed character- and world-building, or with Ruin's Gate 01: Into the Ruin, part 1 to jump right into the action

- then, head over to Patreon and support us at the $1+ tier and move onto FDPDA 01: G-g-g-ghost!

Tango Sector
A fast-paced, high-stakes scifi adventure of Scum & Villainy following the crew of the spaceship Pelagian as they try to make some cash and stay under the radar in a hegemonic, hypercapitalist space future.
start here if:
- you want to dig in to something long
- you like scifi shows like Killjoys, Firefly, and The Mandalorian but wish they were much, much queerer
- you like space horror, weird mythological robots, alien gods, gay space cowboys, and himbos, and you also hate cops
where to start?
- either with character creation (Tango Sector 00: We've All F*cked Diego) or the start of the first mission (Tango Sector 01: Think of the Children)
